Getting pickled is not the way to get through the next four years!

Think of your liver!

However, I must say, looking over the next four years, that I feel your pain...

First, I believe that the majority of the people in this country are good people
and that we will overcome this...
Last night were mojito's
Tonight, just some wine....then wakeup and see what that arsehole has done tomorrow...

I'd give anything to be in the UK right now. Or Canada. Or Australia, Or New Zealand. Or Ireland...

Cheers!

Even the bad times were good.

I was taking the ferry from France back to England (which had been my base for my travels at the time). I was homesick, physically sick, and broke. I can't imagine being more miserable.

This sweet young English kid who was travelling with his family sort of adopted me for the journey. He looked after me, got me some broth from the galley, gave me some candies, and wrote a very nice note for me (including elementary school-style drawings) when he, his family, and I parted ways in Dover.

Young people like this boy continue to give me hope that all is not lost for the human race. And that those who care for, and look out for, their fellow human beings, are the ones who give us a future.

It was great...very few Trump headlines...except British news anchor coming on and saying Trump was an arse
and then you just detached, didn't even google for any news..
and then the day, I got back - it was up right in your face again...

Somewhere unplugged, beautiful, peaceful, quiet, to chill out (excuse the expression...) for a few years.

Human beings, by and large, suck. I want some time away...
