Photo of Trump Tower steak dish gets roasted on the internet

http://nypost.com/2017/09/26/photo-of-trump-tower-steak-dish-gets-roasted-on-the-internet/

A photo showing a new, “mouthwatering” steak dish at Trump Tower in Chicago had Twitter users gagging Tuesday — with one person calling it “an idiot’s version of haute cuisine.”

“The piece of steak on the lower right hand corner looks like a festering wound,” tweeted one disgusted user.

“Looks like it’s been eaten once already,” said another person.

Chris Booty added, “Even the bloody cauliflower has been spray-tanned.”

What sort of people pay money to eat this garbage? The above is in Chicago, where midwesterners know steak.

Anyway, a friendly reminder that his DC hotel charges $24 for their cheapest cocktail and $8 for a Bud Light. People who go to his shitty hotels and pay these prices make me worry for the future of humanity.

just grab whatever is left and sell it to dumbass Trumpsters as some sort of gourmet cuisine that they would only know if they were wealthy and smart enough to get tax cuts in the GOP plan

Poor person's idea of a rich person. Stupid person's idea of a smart person. Microwave frozen meal eater's idea of a gourmet meal.

Toss your plate of food into the table, and let the clairvoyant "read" how it landed. My reading: this restaurant will close soon.

The meat looks like something my labrador tried to eat, but couldn't. And labs will eat anything. One lab chewed siding off the side of my aunt's house.

Nasty unappetizing bloody black meat hovering over squash, with spread out Wtf veggies. The leafy bit in front left, a garnish perhaps, has 1 leaf, 4 empty branches. Why is it spread out on a cloth on a tablecloth? THIS is the best photo they could come up with?

What food photographer worth his kosher salt would think THAT was an enticing representation?

The photos in the Howard Johnson's menu make their meatloaf dinner look waaaay more inviting than this

I eat my steaks bloody and almost raw - but I have to agree with the "festering wound" description.

I've read many reviews about Trump resturaunt fare, and I wouldn't eat there - even if I was assured that Mexico would pay for the meal.

Not only does the "food" look disgusting, it doesn't even show how you would eat it. I know a lot of food photogs and I can't imagine one of them producing an ad like that. Yikes.
