Hey, I just got a "thank you call" from a client.

An older gentleman, who was forced to retire on medical disability from an injury. Due to the medical bills that were not covered by his insurance, deductibles, co-pays, etc., he was having real trouble making his mortgage payments and fell behind.

He just called me. After helping him complete and submit several rounds of paperwork last fall and winter, he just got confirmation that his modification went through, and his monthly payment will drop literally by about 50%.

Made me feel like something I did actually mattered for once. And, it couldn't have happened to a nicer, more deserving guy (the client, not me!)

But we rarely hear about it. I'm glad that you were able to hear the pleasant result and congrats to the older gent for having someone who cared.
