Her Emmy Award winning show, Judge Judy, continues to be the highest-rated regular daytime series drawing an estimated 10 million viewers per day. That's more than twice the audience of the next highest rated daytime show, Dr. Phil.

She is in fact the highest paid TV personality earning an estimated $47 million per year. She also doesn't have to work all that often to earn that salary as she only tapes her show 52 days out of the year, meaning she earns nearly $1 million every day she works. Thanks to that large salary, and another business venture, Judge Judy is worth an estimated quarter billion dollars, according to Forbes.

Do you watch the show?...I do from time to time..It is a fun show to watch..but lots of ads to pay the judge.
Nobody lies to this judge and gets away with it.........Oh, and I have read that some stars get hundreds of thousands a week to be in a show, but.......a million bucks a day..that ain't bad....

I seem to recall that Fred MacMurray had a similar deal on "My Three Sons". He would shoot ALL of his scenes for an entire season in just a couple of weeks, leaving the rest of the cast to interact with stand-ins, empty chairs, the wall, etc., for the rest of the year.
