In between postings, I will be looking for info on my digital camera--I managed to lock one of my photos, which I did not mean to do!

So I'll be here and there all at the same time!

How come your day is slow? I thought Mondays always meant a full waiting room!

4. Don't know, except to say that it's very hot here.

I suppose no one wants to leave home to visit the clinic.

Plus, the air quality is very bad here, due to the wildfires in Canada. Nobody wants to go outside.

6. Seen any good movies lately?

I saw The Big Sick and thought it was good. There was a guy in the theater shouting out stuff as though he was sitting in his own living room. Sometimes it was funny. Sometimes it was scary because he was so loud. My friend and I weren't sure what to make of it.

8. I saw 'Dunkirk' recently. Incredible film.

But I had a talker, too. Two talkers, in fact. A husband and wife team. They were completely oblivious (as they invariably are...) to the fact that there were other people in the theater trying to watch the film without a running commentary.

I finally told him to shut up. I wasn't the least bit polite about it. But he and his loudmouthed missus finally clammed up. Good.,

Talkers can sure make things uncomfortable.

7. Are you in the PNW, Aristus?

I've been reading about the high temps there, as well as the all the smoke from fires in B.C. Doesn't sound like much fun.

11. Yes. The smoke from the fires in B.C make for some beautiful sunrises and sunsets,

but I still wish they were over, as I'm sure our Canadian friends do too.
