4. well I made my first batch of kochies in the 5th grade.

Pretty sure the kitchen was not trashed. Never tried meatloaf. Never wanted to.

My own modification goes "Sell a man a fish, and you can make a living. Teach him how to fish, and you just lost your job."

Once, Jeremy (the teen) called his parents from a friend's home where (if you can believe it) they were busy cramming for their finals.

"It's Jeremy," the mom tells the dad. "I think he needs me to look something up for him in one of his textbooks."

The parents make their way through all the clutter in his room, and find the textbook he needed the info from.

"Turn to page 256, look for my notes. What does it say?"

"Tacos," the mom says.

"Great! Thanks, mom," Jeremy said. "I had forgotten what I wanted for dinner. Could you make me some tacos?"
