After ... not so important. Just wash before going to lunch, or home. As long as you're working with chemicals, keep your hands away from food.

...I had to make a quick run out and back and had just used the urinal, literally touching nothing but myself and was leaving as he entered and went, "Oh sick, you don't wash your hands, bro?"

My answer was "I can assure you, "bro", my dick is a whole lot cleaner than any surface in here."

(Yes, I normally do wash my hands unless it's a "touch and go" drive by mission on the clock, and this was first thing in the morning within an hour of having showered at home.)

I fondly recall scientific field work, even when there was no water to waste.

I'm pretty sure we all did it, male or female hardware, didn't matter.
