Just got out of seeing Dunkirk. *no spoilers*

Wow. Whew. That was a great movie but man don't go in expecting any light moments. You are on the edge of your seat the whole time. And the background music and ticking clock certainly don't help ease the tension. If Christopher Nolan doesn't get a Best Director nomination I don't know what will. Man I think I need to go watch a comedy after that.

The common complaint seems to be the jumping around in timelines that can lead to occasional confusion. Was that not an issue for you at all?

A fair number of these guys turned around a couple of years later to hit the beaches of Normandy.

I showed up ~10 days after D-day for rear duty (I was an MP) and it was scary enough for me.
