sadly had some similar thoughts about the world and the damage humankind is doing...

(1,151 posts)a generation of children who don't even know that the planet used to be a vibrant, bio-diverse place. I also feel so much like I want to quit my job, sell all my belongs, and see as much of the world as I can before it's all gone.
I've been to Hawaii many times. And I'm an amateur snorkeler at best, but I've always enjoyed snorkeling there because even 10 feet off shore you can see amazing things. But I noticed during our most recent trip that I wasn't seeing as much as usual. I blamed it on a bit of rain and some bad luck, but now I have to accept the truth. A huge part of what makes Hawaii heaven is disappearing seemingly overnight.
