I cannot believe we're still arguing over whether climate change is real.

when the older scientist told the younger researcher that he was glad to be older as
he didn't want to see the reefs disappear...I'm up in that age range (60) and have
sadly had some similar thoughts about the world and the damage humankind is doing...

a generation of children who don't even know that the planet used to be a vibrant, bio-diverse place. I also feel so much like I want to quit my job, sell all my belongs, and see as much of the world as I can before it's all gone.

I've been to Hawaii many times. And I'm an amateur snorkeler at best, but I've always enjoyed snorkeling there because even 10 feet off shore you can see amazing things. But I noticed during our most recent trip that I wasn't seeing as much as usual. I blamed it on a bit of rain and some bad luck, but now I have to accept the truth. A huge part of what makes Hawaii heaven is disappearing seemingly overnight.

I cannot recommend it enough. It's so well done and so alarming. I feel like as many people as possible need to see this.
