RODENTS. I despise them all and will kill them on sight. Mice. Rats. Rabbits. Gophers. Rockchucks. They are the scourge of the earth, the scourge of rural living.

(28,394 posts)I love our chipmunks. They race and chase around here like ground-jets. I cede them all my strawberries and blueberries and they tend to leave the vegetable garden alone. I discovered last year, that by planting mint between the cucumbers, they would leave them alone.
The squirrels only come for the acorns and birdseed.
