Always wear clean underwear
That's what my mom used to say.
"Always wear clean underwear ...
because you never know when you are going to get hit by a truck."
Well, today Mel and I spent most of the day in Ft. Worth As we had Dr.s appointments throughout the day.
As I was sitting down in the waiting room for the Cardiologist, I heard a distinct "schhrrrrrr" as I sat down. I sort of inconspicuously checked to see if I had ripped my jeans, but everything "seemed" to still be ok.
Then as we got up from lunch at The Flying Fish I heard another "rrrrch"
Then when we were at another Dr. appointment, I heard another "scrrrrch"
It was not until we had gotten home well into the early evening that I found that I had indeed rippped the seat out of my jeans. But all was well, because I had on clean underwear.
Not the same as getting hit by a truck
