There was a big, male cat named Dammit and a little, Husky puppy named Ayesha. Ayesha foolishly backed Dammit into a corner in the kitchen and Dammit laid her nose wide open with one fell swoop of his big paw. Ayesha let him rule her forever.

weather was turning, I tried my hardest to figure out whose cat it was (it was declawed, etc) but just could't so I lost and we brought it in with the dog and 2 other cats.

The dog is a doodle, about 60 pounds, great pooch, but bullied the other two cats into the upstairs because she needed all the attention.

That was PART of why I fought it, I knew she would be an idiot.

But, the stray beat her - never attacked her or got mean, but absolutely would not back down. The dog spent months trying to bully her, and she was like Gahndi, never ran, never flinched, at the same time never was aggressive at all.

Eventually the dog gave in, and the two of them get a long fine. She does that thing where when the dog tries to push her around a bit, she will just stick her head up and rub against her, and the dog just lets go of it and leaves her alone.

Strays often are the best cats ...

They play and love on each other all the time, but occasionally Bud, who's really old for a big dog, doesn't feel like it, and will turn away. Zoey, the cat, hisses and slaps him for not going along with her plans. You don't mess with the mini might of Zoey!

We had a kitty and dog years ago who would play together and it was so entertaining. The kitty would get under the bedskirt and bat at the dog who would
put her nose under the skirt.

Wish I still had the video, but it was destroyed in our fire.

The breed seems to be pretty great with dogs from what I have seen.

Sometimes play fighting between cats and dogs gets way more scary looking than that.
