CBS Radio (Via WZLX) Axl Rose Rejects Rock Hall Induction in Open Letter

When one is faced with a tough decision, taking the time to fully research the options is key. Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has had ample time to weigh his most recent choice, and he says he’s done his research. His verdict: He won’t be attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2012 Induction Ceremony — and beyond that, he “respectfully declines [his] induction as a member of Guns N’ Roses to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.”

I have never understood the need to "beg" some performers to accept an honor upon which they clearly have spat.

Let him fade into the dustbin of history,

mean-spirited and talent less. The Hall of fame is a joke and has been since day one.

And the steaming hot pile = not written by Izzy/Slash/Duff. And it took FOURTEEN YEARS and millions of bucks to make.

Awesome body of work, no?

Paxil's been riding on the coattails of that name and those songs written by his far more talented colleagues for a decade or two. That spoiled fuck throws tantrums, delays shows by hours, ends shows early, sometimes plain doesn't show up and generally thinks the world should just bow down and kiss his marginally talented ass. Any legacy that band once had is now destroyed.

Regardless of how you feel about Rush, they're being passed over for these guys . . . WHY???

Just remember, kiddies, that you cannot spell "Axl Rose Is A Gigantic Douchebag" without "Axl Rose".

Rather taints his otherwise rather gracious thanks-but-no-thanks.
