18. Larcenous Seagulls!!

When our son Danny was 4, we were at the Toronto Zoo, which is near Lake Ontario. Danny was happily chomping good chicken nuggets with suddenly a seagull swooped in from the lake and swiped a nugget.
He completely dissolved into tears in a second. I'll never forget his face at that moment.
The zoo could have used one of those signs.

23. Seagulls perched on the deck railing - staring at your lobster

We experienced this in CT when we stopped for lobster and lobster rolls. There was a huge deck built out over the water, seagulls everywhere. They sat and stared at our food just waiting for our backs to turn. It was hilarious. Those suckers were big and fat too. Years of diners feeding them scraps, I suppose.

My daughter and my niece shared a lobster and had to keep a sharp eye out for invaders!

24. I never saw someone go from happy to distraught so quickly

He just completely dissolved. Poor little guy. He's going to be 23 in June. He still talks about it, lol.

31. On summer when I was outside Burlington Vt,

I decided to stop for lunch at the Burger King on the highway south of Burlington. I decided to eat in my car and parked toward the back of the parking lot. I was sitting there, happily eating my lunch, when I looked up to see a seagull sitting on the hood of my car staring at me through the windshield. He was eyeing my burger! I glanced out the side window to find that the car was surrounded by gulls, and they were coming closer every minute. I felt like I was in a freaky version of The Birds.

Turns out the restaurant was less than a mile over land from Lake Champlain, and the gulls frequented the parking lot looking for handouts and trash. Made total sense, but it scared me half to death!
