Dear God Chris Pratt is a terrible actor

I am watching the new Magnificent Seven. He makes John Wayne look like Al Pacino.

I don't watch much TV, but so this is the first I have really seen of him. Reminds me of the little ok e kid who played Anakin Skywalker.

seldom watched that show, I did catch an episode here and there and he seemed to be fine. However, I'm not into the kind of movies he seems to be in (super hero) so I can't speak to those particular roles. This thread caught my attention because I was just thinking about how actors can be excellent in some roles and suck in others! Nicolas Cage came to mind. He was wonderful in "Leaving Las Vegas" and even won and Oscar. I also thought he was great in "The Family Man." Some of his other roles, as they say, not so much. Also, I adore Keanu Reeves (because he has done so many really sweet things for people with no fanfare) and loved him in "The Matrix." Other movies, not so much....I wonder why that happens....

They both have a face that works well in comedy, but I find it difficult to take him seriously. I keep expecting a punchline.
