Whatever happened to treating everyone with dignity and respect?

Keep in mind, that these are the kids who will be choosing the parents' nursing home some day.

It is not mutually exclusive.

These kids are likely to have a lot of fun with their families before then. (Maybe not the little sister.)

My 16 year old daughter with a new license and an old car told me one day she needed to get some gas.

I gave her a $20 and told her to fill it up (20 years back or so)
She went out to get in her car and mine was parked behind her.

She looked over at me. I took my keys out of my pocket and said "Here why don't you just take mine?"

She came back about ten minutes later with my car full of gas. She was really upset.
"Do you know what you did?" and I said, "yes, yes I do."
