You look soooo different

Do you think that's a good thing or not a good thing?

I was at a meeting yesterday for work. I work as a legislative aide and it was a town board meeting about a major development in our district.

A constitutent came over to me, said hi to me by name and then said "I didn't recognize you for a minute, you look soooo different!"

Haven't gained/lost weight recently or changed hair color or style significantly..

So whaddya think? Good thing or not a good thing??

But I'm guessing they meant to pay you a compliment or they wouldn't have brought it up.

I have lost a huge amount of weight (in excess of 100lbs) and I really DO look different.

My ex-husband even introduced himself to me at a family function I had to attend. I hadn't seen him in 8 years LOL
He didn't know who I was.

I think you should take it as a compliment.

also works with "Jesus", "Allah", and "the Flying Pasketti Monster".

For some reason, the joke does not work with "Kali, Lord of Destruction"
