Police called to Ohio Taco Bell to settle dispute over "Fire" or "Mild" sauce

Police called to Ohio Taco Bell to settle dispute over 'Fire' or 'Mild' sauce

When they arrived, officers saw that the line was backed up by several car lengths, and asked the frustrated Taco Bell customer what the problem was.

According to the South Euclid police, she told officers the reason for the holdup was that Taco Bell was out of "Mild" sauce, her preferred condiment, and had only "Fire" sauce on hand.

She was also frustrated that Taco Bell would not give her the meal she ordered at half-price for the inconvenience she was facing.

Police advised the woman that this customer service matter "was not likely going to be resolved at the drive-thru window, and suggested she return the next day to speak to a manager."

I have a bin in my fridge that's full of Mild sauce. They give it to me when they are out of Fire.

it isn't about the heat level, it is about the actual flavor combined with the "meat" and lettuce and cheese (and added onions) in the crunchy taco

I hate when they run out, how shitty of a manager do you have to be to run out of taco sauce at a taco bell? what? does corporate ration it?

And I like hot stuff - I eat jalapenos all the time (thouhg they aren;tall that hot now). I can handle mediumish thai curry. My favortie non-chain taco place is just a drive up that makes tacos al pastor so good I dream about them and their sauce is pretty hot (hotter tha jalapeños by a good measure) but the flavor is so awesome I happily scarf them down.

But the Taco Bell mild sauce just has the best flavor of all their sauces. It complements their tacos perfectly. And the Mexican pizza too.

and yeah! wtf is a manager doing running out of sauce? Managers everywhere are going downhill. I was at a Wawa the other day getting some soup for lunch and they call my number and I go get the soup and look down and the spoon basket is empty. I said "You got more spoons back there? the basket is empty.."

she says "No I'm sorry, we ran out."

I just look at my soup then back at her then back at my soup and shrug. "What am I supposed to do with soup and no spoon?"

"Well we get a new shipment in tonight..."

I just kept staring at her and finally she said, "Oh, I could give you a milkshake spoon - would that be OK?"

Yes please and thank you.

But I don't see making a big deal about it.

Customer needs to get a life.
