I don't like watching Rachel Maddow. I LOVE IT!

Sorry I had to do this in response to this DU thread I just came across

I don't like watching Rachel maddow

I guess she's fine for her persona and herself as a character. Maybe I can see how she doesn't do it for some. But damn the content of her shows is epic! The story lines are so riveting, I put the most interesting pieces together in one post last week. About two months ago I realized she is the only talking head I actually enjoy watching. It's because of the way she connects the dots and shines light on all angles.

1. For me, I like watching news shows that are actually news

She does such an amazing job of clearly presenting information. With the current admin, that takes a special talent.

3. I watch her at 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

I actually get upset if I have to miss her. I just sort of listen to the news during the day while doing other stuff but for Rachel I put things down and watch her. I even put DU down...well most of the time...I stay on if it is something really big....like last night.

4. Rachel & Lawrence are an intellectual 1-2 uppercut

Both of them are wicked smart.

There is something substantial to be learned from them almost every night ... and Rachel is a master storyteller. Her research people must be top-notch, too.

Impressive how she keeps pulling that off night after night.

I'm happy you and others enjoy her show, like her, love her, whatever. I'm just not a fan of the show. We don't all have to agree and like the same things. That would be boring.
