Quite a change from my days at the mainstream clinic, when I barely had enough time to catch my breath, let alone get all of my tasks done...

(34,137 posts)But if I need the egg whites for something else - meringue cookies for instance - I will just spritz some whipped cream on a piece as I serve it.
Right now I have a bunch of nuts I bought to make spiced nuts for the holidays. Because our holidays were cancelled, I still need to do that. They use a lot of egg whites so I might make a key lime pie or two (without meringue or whipped cream they freeze nicely) to use up the yolks.

Here is the most amazing artist of this century so far, IMO:

I get lost for hours looking at his art, and also at the videos showing him at work:

Favorite painters: Edward Hopper and Vincent Van Gogh.
Favorite musicians: Concrete Blonde, Chris De Burgh, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven.
I like the rendition of Da Vinci's The Last Supper.
Anyone who is offended by it should read the history of what Da Vinci himself and subsequent restorers did to it.

I like it also, and I love his portraits of famous people, esp. John Lennon, Humphrey Bogart, Sitting Bull, and Marilyn Monroe. His work is brilliant and awe-inspiring.

I saw what you did there.
I'm currently working in a medical clinic for homeless patients. It's slow right now. I have a feeling it will get busier and busier over the next four years...

Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Walk with me
Like lovers do
Talk to me
Like lovers do
Here comes the rain again
Raining in my head like a tragedy
Tearing me apart like a new emotion
Oh
I want to breathe in the open wind
I want to kiss like lovers do
I want to dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
So baby talk to me
Like lovers do
Here comes the rain again
Falling on my head like a memory
Falling on my head like a new emotion
(Here is comes again, here it comes again)
I want to walk in the open wind
I want to talk like lovers do
I want dive into your ocean
Is it raining with you
