3. The last movie I saw in the theater, I fell asleep and missed most of it!

This movie was absolutely riveting, though I admit I enjoy psychological thrillers more than just about any other movie genre. The audience as a whole seemed to love it also. I might even go again, something I haven't done in over 25 years.

LOVED it, OMG, Denzel and Viola, it's like watching a symphony....soooooo good

I have been crushing on Mr. McAvoy ever since I saw him in a silly movie on Netflix - I've seen him a few times since, and have thought: if he got the right role, he'd be in the big leagues. I hope this does it for him!

Will probably see it on my next night off from work (Thursday)

-that's next on the list.

The movie I remember him from was "Victor Frankenstein", along with Daniel Radcliffe. Interesting movie!

Good for him.

I imagine the studios weren't going to give him too many more chances. He seemed to have a pretty long streak of bombs following the success of Sixth Sense.

The last film of his I saw had Mark Wahlberg talking to plants while channeling Andy Samberg's Mark Wahlberg impersonation from SNL ("Say hi to your mother.&quot . Unintentionally hilarious. I figured Shyamalan was finished after that debacle.

I think this plot concept is made for his shape shifting skills

But to be honest, M. Night Shyamalan's supposed surprise endings never surprised me. The supposed twist is obvious to me.

They are entertaining enough, though.

4. James McAvoy was incredible-I didn't know it was him until the end of the movie.

I hadn't even heard about this movie and chose it blindly from the schedule at the last minute. Then I saw M. Night Shyamalan was the writer/director and decided to go for it. This one is a little different from his previous movies, and so worth watching.
Best surprise of 2017, but it is dark.

7. Is that Betty Buckley in the clip? If so, he must like her.

I remember watching that bomb, "The Happening", and she was in it. I'm glad to see he's made a good film.
