Nice.

Did you know (according to Wikipedia), Bill Cosby used the Fernet-Branca as his centerpiece routine on his 1973 album Fat Albert?

Haha. Fun Fact. Cheers and enjoy!

Thanks a bunch.

I do have a bottle of Ron Zacapa Centenario Sistema Solera 23 rum (thank you, cut and paste) I've been saving for a few years, for a special occasion. Is that associated with any rapists, murderers, or terrorists, as far as you know?

He and Mom would also share a bottle of beer whenever we had spaghetti for dinner.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure grandad was an alcoholic, which would suppirt your generational theory.

I survived, and learned a lot. He died a few years ago (after we'd separated.)

Daughters have done most of the 'suffering,' whether they recognize it or not. But they're great young mothers themselves.

I used to peruse the ads in LIFE Magazine, wondering what it would be like to mount a hunt for the missing cases of CC. Remember, I was only 8 or 9 at the time. Now that's some good advertising!

because that's what it looked like to me.

So, doing an intrepid hunt for super-apple juice seemed like a good idea to nine year-old me...

Nowadays, I'd be happy to stay at home and just nurse a glass of Glenfiddich on ice. Why go to all that bother?...

She's the one who told me about it. I usually use Earl Grey; sometimes, Constant Comment. She adds lemon; maybe honey sometimes.

but I think we've finished the last kegs of those. I do have a few bottles of the Stout stashed away, though.

We may be releasing our Belgian White IPA, which was developing quite nicely last week, and I've developed a particular fondness for our Chinookered Pale Ale (all Chinook hops).

It's great being a member/owner of a brewery co-op!
