Fantastic Beast and where to find them.

Just wanted to say, J.K. Rowling is a genius. No spoilers, but, let's just say that she knows how to mine dysfunction in the human condition and address these issues in her magical world. I definitely see another Harry Potter like series coming out of this one.

First, yes, it started slow, and I blame it on the American accents. LOL! It was all too familiar 1920ish era until we finally found that portal that took us to another world and then the movie escalated to a crescendo ending.

Maybe because they did take the time to develop the characters in the beginning, I really liked them all by the time we reached the end. Hope we see more of the muggle who was inadvertently drawn into the wizarding world. And definitely hope to see that American Wizarding school that they kept talking about.

I was a big fan of Harry Potter and the first series of movies. But I have been pretty wary of this new prequel series -- having been previously let down by the Star Wars and Hobbit disasters.

Just be prepared for that glitch. It has a good twist that will make it all worth while.

I can see where the story can grow. That excites me because we have a whole new host of likeable characters.
