We got 2 or 3 inches of snow. Hard to tell for sure 'cause I wasn't going out to check it. In_The_Wind Nov 2016 #2

Hope you're staying warm & toasty!

Here in the midwest, we just had our first hard freeze. Even some 70s last week. It was pretty doggone good for mid-November.

I was out yesterday in a tank-top without a coat. Typical New York weather. Hot one day, cold the next. Oh, and (it feels like we only get) two days of Spring weather.

Are you ready for Winter this year?

Glad my 'dish' is on the ground so I don't have to climb, if snow interferes! Had one such experience last year.

I do record quite a bit so I had things to watch just no current up to date news.

You know, after two weeks without their endless blathering in the background, I have been enjoying the quiet. I always wondered how some DUers could get along without a TV. It's not so bad!

I have talked to so many people lately who say they no longer watch those channels. I hope we hurt them in their pocketbooks for what they did during the campaigns.

I had one of those A frame log houses, in the thick woods, in Western Washington.
One huge window, but faced north, so between the constant clouds, dense trees, it was gloomy.
Did not help that the inside was brown logs.

So I had skylight put on, it made a major difference in needed light.

Until it snowed.
