(629 posts)I know this is an old post and no one will see it. I loved the rendition he played at Steve Goodman's memorial tribute. He was a friendly person too. At the Philadelphia Folk Festival he was walking around the camp sites and stopped and visited us for a while. We played guitars, I had a banjo that I gladly offered John, and there was a bit of weed, beer, and wine. A fine time was had by all of us that I will never forget.
