I don’t believe in ghosts, but trying to is fun!
It’s the time of year I think of my Salem witch trials ancestors and for the heck of it the other day, I thought I’d try to conjure one up. I sat down on my favorite end of the couch and put my coffee cup on the end table to let the coffee cool a bit before drinking it. I silently said to my witch trials ghosts, Does anyone want to talk with me? If so, how do we do it?
A second or two later, my coffee, which wasn’t moving at all anymore from being placed on the end table, for no reason that I could see started to ripple and even splash a little! OOOoooOOO! It startled me, so guess what I did. I gulped down the coffee, hot or not (it was still kind of hot) so that it wouldn’t ripple and splash anymore. Then I was worried I’d swallowed a ghost and had gotten possessed. Not really, but I did have the creeps for a while.

Maybe I'll try that on something next. Or maybe spoon bending.
I'd better not, since I'd probably freak out if I thought I saw movement.
