Interesting History - Custer's first- (ALMOST) last Stand

Brash, reckless, arrogant, bold, and whatever adjective you can throw at him - Custer was a unique commander. Of course we all know him for that - oops, maybe I shouldn't be here- stand where he got himself, two of his brothers, his brother-in-law, a nephew, not to mention the rest of his command, slaughtered.

But earlier in his Civil War soldiering he had sort of a rehearsal for his famous last stand along the Virginia Central Railroad known as Trevilian Station -
