13. Chuckie - Grow it out or shave it out.

And if you must have a beard, grow it out below the chinline to just shy of the ZZ-Top, and maybe shave your head to avoid being mistaken for Wolf Blitzer...the beard and shaved head is a much more impressive look, even in a suit. And you can avoid the inevatable comb-over as your hairline starts to receed.
Or go for the Boston Whaling Captain look, which has a lot more gravitas; and is definatly not douchy or "hipster". (Surgeon General Koop really rocked that look...).

Seriously, Mr. Todd could do worse. He could go for the "soul patch" look.

Gives the face some shape. He's got a little under-chin fullness so I'm sure he thinks, being on-camera, that he looks less pudgy.

I like trim full beards, but I think goatees make a man look like he's got a vagina on his face, and not in the way he'd probably like.

19. I constantly tell guys I know to either grow some facial hair or lose the goatee.

Not only do they look awful, there seems to be some correlation locally here in MD between goatees and the photos shown on the evening news of arrested pedophiles. My best friend has a goatee and his wife is horrified that I refer to it as his "pedo-beard."

It might work with some mutton-chops if you grew it out in length about 1".
