Anyone know the song "Stealing Second"?

I heard this song late at night on my NPR/college radio station and it was so amazing it woke me up. It's similar to a Dave Grisman work but when the DJ said the names of the musicians, I didn't recognize any of them. It's mandolin, guitar, bass and violin. It is the fastest playing I ever heard. I was thinking it was recorded at 33 but played at 45, though the notes all seemed pure. Searched the YT but all I could find was baseball videos or the song "Stealing", which this definitely wasn't.

It was a ripping good tune and I'd love to hear it again. Just thought I'd ask on the off-chance someone here might be familiar with it.

A six pack of Mexican Coke - made with cane sugar not HFCS. I can vouch it tastes better. Cheers!

Isn't that amazing? I guess there is banjo, not guitar. Whatever, I sure would like to see them play.

Thank you so much.

Wonder why my searches didn't turn that up. No matter now.

Mexican Coke is great! They sell it at my grocery, a buck fifty for a small bottle. It's a nice indulgence on occasion.

Thanks for taking the time.

I'm glad you found the performer of that song - it's really good. And now you know he'll host Prairie Home Companion!

Teamwork!!

BTW, I'm lucky enough to live in San Antonio; when I want a treat I go to my local Taqueria for breakfast tacos and a Mexican coke.

This is the guy who will be hosting "Prairie Home Companion" starting in Oct. I heard a couple of the older shows he was on and was wowed by his music.

What a nice surprise.
