A Little Grateful Dead Magic:

I live in Seattle where there is a tunneling project (and a real mess of a project I might add) along the waterfront. The borer is nicknamed Bertha. Today on FB there was a story about the interesting things that Bertha has unearthed, including a china doll head with the name "Bertha" stamped on it.

I got the GD song "Bertha" stuck in my head and went looking for a Youtube video. I ran across this one.

I was AT that concert! I remember it well. Incredible that on this day of all days I'd find it.

Today is the anniversary of Jerry's death.

Thanks, Universe.

Loved the 70"s Dead. Keith Godschaux really was the perfect pianist for that band. I miss those days....
