This is not the ocean; this is Lake Michigan.

It is still occupied.

Good design to deflect the big waves.

On a nice summer day one can walk out to the lighthouse at the end of the pier. If ones lucky, the lighthouse keeper will be there holding court. It is an awesome experience.
