I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but a company is interested in hiring me. They're doing a background check and I had an interview yesterday that went well. They just called me and want me to go for a drug test tomorrow morning. In a lot of industries that means you're in, but not so in the trucking industry. I found that out the hard way last week. That's why I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

It's not a bad job. I'd be home every night with weekends off most of the time- I might have to work a Saturday here and there. I'd be hauling auto parts. It pays a guaranteed minimum of $800 a week before taxes as long as I report for duty every day which is really a nice perk to have. We'll see how it goes.
