I thought I'd write a little post about weight related health issues and toot my own horn a little. My blood pressure is a little high and I have sleep apnea which are both related to me being overweight. I am in treatment for both of those things, and I hope that in the future my weight loss will remedy them. The doctor said if I get below 300 pounds that should take care of the high blood pressure. I'm at 317 as of this past Monday.
However, I did have some recent blood work done, and according to that I'm pretty fit for a big guy. Surprisingly, my cholesterol is in the healthy range. The only thing that was a little off was my triglycerides, but it wasn't bad at 196. They just told me to eat less fried food. There must have been at least 50 tests run and all of them except for the triglycerides were in the healthy range. I can attribute it to good genes, I guess. I'm probably not going to die of a heart attack anytime soon. I feel lucky today.

Sounds like you really have things under control though.
