I am in a 'unique' role, but unlike my usual career position, have nobody reporting to me.

I despise my current job and am looking for another btw.

2. As far as I'm concerned, email is low priority

If someone needs something right away, and they matter, they have my cell phone number. If they don't have my cell phone number, as far as I'm concerned they aren't important enough for me to reply right away. I have an auto away message that shoots them back an email when I'm out of the office.

I've never heard of any death bed confessions where someone wished that they spent more time at the office.
