The main reason I'm seeing the new Ghostbusters - Leslie Jones

I've also read good reviews and many of them call out Ms Jones as the highlight of the film. But I became a huge fan of hers from Saturday Night Live. She's one of the funniest people in the SNL cast and I get a great laugh out of her loud, brash, in your face comedy, something we haven't really seen from many of the women in SNL (they are funny but more like funny actresses whereas Jones is pure comedic fun!).


One of my favorite SNL skits from last year was 'Naked & Afraid' - which was a reality TV spoof where 2 celebrities (Leslie Jones and Peter Dinklage) must survive 21 days in the wilderness while naked. The pairing of super-tall Leslie Jones with Peter Dinklage (who is a little person) was pure comedy!

She was also a hoot as a supervisor on the Star Wars Starkiller Base barking orders (and pissed she couldn't eat her muffin) in the 'Undercover Boss Starbase Edition' (Adam Driver was the guest that week and did his Star Wars Kylo Ren who went undercover to see what people really thought of him)

Personally I think she's the next Eddie Murphy! The fact that she wasn't some skinny woman and she's almost 50 yet hired her for the SNL cast is pretty awesome!

I still watch SNL primarily just to see her!
