One of them was, "leadership is the art of getting people to want to do what they wouldn't want to otherwise." By that standard, Colonel Potter was a great leader. Imagine what he could do with the Congress.
(The other thing I learned was, "never use Lime-A-Way to strip a linoleum floor."
