Old New York - Google touched

A fascinating look at New York City in the late 1800's and early 1900's . Strange to see log cabin homes and farms in what is now sky scrapers, steel and concrete.

Broadway and West 34th Street 1901

Note the "exhaust" of the horses in the street

Many more done as a Google map at:

For a good read on old NYC I highly recommend "Up in the Old Hotel." I am fascinated by NYC of old.
