A dummy made to look like a clown would be the stuff of nightmares.

... I seem to remember a circus museum in Delevan(sp?), Wisconsin that featured a clown makeup "registry" - each clown had painted their face on a goose egg. There were rows and rows of egg clowns.

It wasn't as creepy as these dummies, though.

Burn that place to the ground. Rake over the ashes, then burn it all again. Plow under what's left, and sow the site with salt. Put up barricades and warning signs for the good of humanity.

No, not creepy at all.

The Museum of Jurassic Technology in Los Angeles, California is an educational institution dedicated to the advancement of knowledge and the public appreciation of the Lower Jurassic.

Like a coat of two colors, the Museum serves dual functions. On the one hand the Museum provides the academic community with a specialized repository of relics and artifacts from the Lower Jurassic, with an emphasis on those that demonstrate unusual or curious technological qualities. On the other hand the Museum serves the general public by providing the visitor a hands-on experience of "life in the Jurassic"....

I visited the The Museum of Jurassic Technology and walked away thinking I might have visited an early twentieth century carnival sideshow that went bust. It was totally creepy on so many levels.

and the oldest dream axiom would kick in
1) I would develop the slowest legs imaginable, unable to runaway from them
2) I would get caught by them from behind and they would either
3) begin hitting me on my head with I don't know because I never turned around
4) or begin to tickle me HARD on my sides

A crazy laughter would begin right before they would appear. My parents basement had an old chest of drawers. EACH drawer was VERY difficult to open. And as I shut my eyes now, I can STILL see that top drawer slowly open, during the crazy laughter. I began to sprint towards the basement stairs. Towards the adults sitting and talking in the kitchen right at the stair top. My yelling for help became a whisper. And get caught from behind.

I don't have the fear anymore but I can still see those dreams to this day.
