Also, has anyone done any analysis on whether the same set of numbers has ever been picked twice? If so, wouldn't it be good to avoid all of the numbers that have ever won? What is the strategy people use when playing?

I want to win and I need advice.

The last winning combination is just as likely to come up as any other.

Don't confuse that with the separate and equally true statement that the odds of the same combination coming up twice in a row are astronomically high.

....of course not; now don't you feel foolish paying that lotto sucker tax? I didn't buy 60 lottery tickets and I'm $60 richer because of it....don't get me wrong, if you had fun wasting your $60 on lottery tickets, more power to you....

....as for me, I'll spend my $60 on something more valuable; 20 eight by ten glossies of Bo Diddley....

Of the 15 tickets: half were numbers we picked and the other half were Quick Picks.

The two tickets that we won the $7 and $3 on were the tickets where we had picked the numbers ourselves.

So, how'd you do?
