Hey, if you had a black female kitty named Princess and her brother is named Prince and he is

white with some black spots on his face and a gorgeous black tail . . .

What should they Prince and Princess of?

I have adopted them from the sweetest lady who has been diagnosed with terminal pulmonary fibrosis. She hated to give them up but, she can not care for them anymore.

I was thinking maybe:

Prince Edward of ___________________________

Princess Ebony of ____________________________

but, I am open to suggestions.

Right now I have been calling them Prince Big Boy and Princess Pretty Girl, because they are!

Pictures coming soon as I have time. Pretty busy with work and family stuff but, I will find time over the weekend, I hope.

So, anyway -- what do you guys think?

Anything?

Not that the others aren't but I've yet to meet a b/w kitty who's not a charmer.

with just the cutest black spots on his face and the black tail. He has those pretty pink ears! He is almost twice her size. She is very dainty and petite.

Both of them are very affectionate, purring and nosing on my arm for petting.

Are solid blacks known as Tuxedos? They do not have the classic Tuxedo markings.

Bubastis was the ancient Egyptian center for the worship of Bastet, the cat-goddess. Cats like to remind us that they were worshipped and still expect to be.

The Baron was a rescue of about a year old, he was with me for 17 years
Sir Fred was found as a tiny kitten under a car at my mother's rental house; with me for 16 years
Lady Alex followed me home from the bus stop one day and stayed for 18 years.

Great cats ... I think they liked their names as they always paid attention when called.

with copper cape and mask. She loves to be spoken to in alliterative terms. Her name is Princess Pretty Penny Pitty-Pat Kitty-Cat of Felina. She purrs when she hears her name. You'll think of great names and you'll find the inspiration in their charms. Best wishes with your adopted pair, and thank you for taking them in.

my son named her Patches.

My Favorite picture of Leo and Patches taken last May.

[IMG][/IMG]

She Polydactyl (has extra toes on her front paws) I really didn't want two cats, the other is Snowball (pic below) but my son spent two weeks trying to convince me to get her. I only agreed after I overheard his "friend" say If she in not picked up tomorrow she will be killed. I went and get her that night. This June she will have been with us 7 yrs ans Snowball will have been with us 8. TrogL has 2 cats Tyger and Smokey. Then we adopted 2 dogs together, Leo who is 11 this year and Scrappy who will be 6.

her Princess Isis. The ancient Egyptians referred to her as the Goddess of Magic.

A long time ago, I had a Jack Russell pup whose name was Andy, short for Prince Andrew, part of a litter who were named Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Princess Diana when they were the only UK royalty in the news (now how's THAT for dating myself??!)

Honestly I'm not into the whole royalty gig but if you're going with that meme, why not choose those at the "top" of the publicity heap? Kittens nicknamed Wills and Kate would be cute especially as they're already dressed up in formal garb....

around with the idea of it all and see what we could come up with --

for some weird reason the boy cat looks like a Charley to me ...

but, I hate the idea of Charles and Camilla and Charles and Diana -- that doesn't seem right either.

and they are brother and sister so that makes it odd, too.

nice thinking though
