Rewatching the first two seasons so I can better understand what is happening in the current 3rd season.
Season 2 episode 5, the one that begins with Robert Rogers confronting Washington in Washington's own tent. At the end of that sequence, Washington has Rogers taken away, presumably to be locked up, right?
But later in that episode, after the French guy is dispatched with the King George ledger page, Rogers shows up again? WTF? No explanation, or did I miss it?
Even during the planning session about how to get that page back to France, Brewster is emphasizing to Washington how Rogers will do anything to stop the page from getting to France; at that point, why doesn't Washington say, "Oh him? Yeah, I had him taken away earlier." But instead, Washington is like "Oh yeah, we have to worry about Rogers intercepting this!"
Why?

(178 posts)where Washington has Rogers locked up, takes place a few years (in 1775?) before the other scenes you mentioned which are "present day" so to speak.

(7,335 posts)I'll have to watch again. That's the only thing that makes sense. Thanks.

(7,335 posts)it was 1775, and the setting was a room, not a tent. Rogers shows up to offer Washington his services, but Washington declined and accused Rogers of having sold his services to the Brits. I wonder if this was true, of it that was what prompted Rogers to actually sell his services to the Brits? Or, had he already turned and was there to kill Washington? He brought him that blade, which I don't recall ... what blade was that?
Sheeesh, unless I watch all 3 seasons in one sitting, this is hard to follow! LOL Thanks again
