What's with the Mick Jagger thing lately?

In pop music?

Most obviously is Maroon 5's "Moves like Jagger", but there's also the line in Ke$ha's "Tik Tok":

"And now the dudes are lining up 'cause they hear we got swagger,
But we kick 'em to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger."

Ok, so...I know Mick Jagger's kind of a legend, but...

I've never thought much of Jagger's "moves". He kind of looks like a dead fish flopping around the stage to me.

And...he's like 70, right? Why would a 20-year-old kick guys to the curb unless they look like him? Heck even if she was talking about how he looked 40-50 years ago, he was never much to look at.

Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?

Am I getting old?

Or am I not old enough to think Jagger's the best thing ever?
