Fear of the dark.

Where I work has wooded areas around it. I've been working 2nd shift hauling trailers around the property with a yard truck. I haven't been afraid of the dark since I was a little kid, but this place makes me a little skittish sometimes when the sun goes down. The pictures I have here are of the property across the street from some docks that I frequently put trailers in after dark. I took the pictures during daylight so you have to use your imagination a little bit to feel the effect.

The first two are of the woods leading to a cul-de-sac where I flip the truck around to line up with the docks.

The following picture is from the drive that shows the view of the woods where I backed up from.

This image is from the cab of the yard truck after I have swung the truck around in the cul-de-sac to back up to the dock. I have to get right up to the edge of the pavement when I have a 53 footer on to get around straight enough to back up

With just the headlights shining in there in the dark it's pretty spooky. I keep thinking I'm going to see this guy pop up out of there.

And now for a tune that seems appropriate.
