86-year old gymnast




Johanna Quaas is a better gymnast at age 86 than most of us will be at any age. Her floor routine was the talk of Germany’s Cottbus Cup this week, and she also put in an impressive performance on the parallel bars.

--gymnastics clubs for the general public. There are Turnverein in the U.S. wherever Germans have settled, and I remember seeing an exhibition by the St. Paul group back when I was a teenager. Not only kids but middle-aged people were doing all sorts of stunts.

An inspiration for all of us to stay active as we grow older.
