I have a blind kitten. She is astonishingly good at finding her toys but hasn't mastered the trick of returning them to me. I had a sighted old female cat who died last fall who was good at fetch. Cats are amazing!

I have rescued two congenitally deaf dogs and the lack of hearing was never an issue. They respond beautifully to sign. They minded better than my kids! One died at 16 the other is nine and still with me. Wonderful pets.
