3. Last at-bat of the last game they play against each other this season?

In hockey, they'd've taken care of it in the first two seconds of the first game they played against each other.

Of course in hockey, nobody would've got their fee-fees hurt over a flipped stick after a game winning goal.

But hey, it's baseball.

Pretty much instant karma. The delayed karma is just icing on the cake.

The fight happened because the slide happened.

The slide happened because the plunk happened.

The plunk happened because the flip happened.

That's baseball.

I'm saying that the timing of the plunk was chickenshit because they waited until the last Bautista at-bat of the season instead of taking care of business on the first pitch of the first Bautista at-bat of the season.

But again, that's baseball.

7. Who makes a retaliatory plunk on the lead off in a 1 run game in the 8th inning?

The case that it was just isn't that solid, and no matter what you can claim, Odor had exactly zero to do with it. Not so for the dirty slide. Nobody loses their career over a plunk. Players get unrecoverable injuries from dirty slides. Even if you could claim the pitch was a plunk, the reaction was quite disproportional. Bautista got what was coming to him and will now forever be remembered as the big bully who deservedly got his bell rung by the little guy, no matter what his other accomplishments are. Just like Robin Ventura will forever be remembered as the guy that got his ass handed to him by Nolan Ryan.

8. I've got a ball autographed by Odor. He and Beltre are my favorites.

Now even more so. The Blue Jays are crap.
