Victim attacked with frozen turkey in SF home robbery

The incident happened at a home on the 700 block of Kirkwood Street in Hunters Point around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The robber, a women in her late 20s, entered the home through an open door and was confronted by a 44-year-old woman who lives there, police said. During a verbal altercation, the intruder removed a frozen turkey from the freezer, hit the victim in the head with it and bit her finger, said Officer Albie Esparza, a spokesman with the San Francisco Police Department.
The thief fled the home with the turkey, got into a silver Lexus, four-door car and drove off, police said.
