(57,489 posts)I know there are others. One of the cheapskate TV channels (that is, over-the-air, for free, not on cable) runs back-to-back episodes of The Partridge Family on Sunday afternoons. They break out into song at least once per episode. The show isn't my cup of tea. I can't find the listings for it now. I don't tape it.
On the other hand, it's preceded by back-to-back episodes of The Monkees. That I do watch. They were much better than people gave them credit for. They benefitted greatly from Don Kirshner's Rolodex full of songwriters.
I had to choose my pinup photo of David Cassidy carefully. Some of them approach soft-core porn.
I think you know the ones I mean.
In homage to David Cassidy, I'm wearing a pair of throwback '70s vintage corduroy jeans with a wide leather belt with two brass rings. It's close to something he would have worn. It's similar to the lower one:
