don't have large claws.

Not sure this dog would be a great investment, though: our spiny lobsters in California (P. interruptus) don't spend an awful lot of time wandering shallow sandy bottoms in broad daylight - if the FL version is the same, there wouldn't be a lot of opportunities for the dog to catch them (not to mention that this one looked pretty lethargic if not actually dead ) ...

I saw title and thought of the American lobster and was like wtf? Then I saw the video and was like...cheap dude, but I was relieved for the dog. As for the shallow part, when I saw that there was nothing else around, and that it was not moving I started to wonder if he had some from the store that he tossed in. I guess if you are fishing in a shallow area and the dog is looking in he could grab you a lobster. So it is like having a truffle sniffing dog, but being in an area with few truffles...sure you may not every get any...but if you do you will feel like a champ.

For $2500 I'd want the dog to swim around, spot the lobsters on their own and bring them back to the place on the beach where I am sitting in my lounge chair!
