(149,729 posts)I'd love to chat.
I had an exciting day......I want some boring ones. My heart did flip-flops all day and then tonight I nearly fainted. My cardiologist wants to monitor me more closely for a 2-week period. Sigh.
It's my stupid thyroid.
Some day I may actually BE normal.
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)but, seriously, sorry you're feeling poorly and i hope you get to feeling better.
his largeness is being a bit of a turd lately in that he asks for food, only eats half of what i put down for him and then shouts at me again a half hour later for more food. i think he's bored with the flavors we've been giving him, so i'll pick up something different at the store. good thing he's so cute
what else has been going on with you?
CaliforniaPeggy
(149,729 posts)There's plenty going on.
My left ear is a little plugged up from a very nasty bug I had some weeks ago, but it's improving and I can now hear out of it!
My joints are giving me trouble but it's my own damn fault for not doing my exercises.
And my stupid thyroid is making me extra emotional! As if I weren't emotional already.
All of this will pass...not sure when though!
And the year is coming up for the date Chris died. So there's that.
Most of the time I feel OK...
Thanks, sweetie...

(149,729 posts)I have a group of very competent doctors and I'm in good hands.
I just wish my life were a little less interesting! At least medically speaking!
As I told fizzgig, I feel fine most of the time.

(24,146 posts)was going to listen but the husband wanted to watch night court. yeah, you read that right, night court
I've never watched night court, but must say I do head in the law and order direction rather often!
fizzgig
(24,146 posts)haven't watched the original for many years, but we get a station that has an svu marathon every saturday. night court made me laugh when i was a kid and i appreciate it even more now that i'm old enough to get all the jokes. john larroquette played one of the main characters and, although his character is nothing like lionel tribby, i can see the sparkle of tribby's....intensity there.

(20,221 posts)I even used to have the "chung-chung" as my ring tone. I think the channel you speak of is one of the ION channels. They have SVU all day Saturday and the original all day on Wednesday. Otherwise it's pretty much the Criminal Minds channel.

(24,146 posts)i never think to watch wednesday night. guess i know what i'm doing tomorrow

(20,221 posts)I'm job hunting right now, so I'll indulge myself. It's funny. I like the old SVUs so much better than the new ones. I miss Chris Meloni on the new ones.

(9,999 posts)I had one named Synawie and all that cat wanted out of life was a lap. Miss him terribly but other than that, hope your day, week and month get better for you.

(520 posts)if you spend some time doing just what you're doing. Nothing happier than a purring kitty. When I have a bad day, my Lexi puts a paw on each shoulder and rubs her face on my cheek and then lays her head on my shoulder for a hug

(24,146 posts)largeness will curl up at my feet, the dim little grey one will curl up on my side, the husband will snuggle up to us and all will be well.

(66,478 posts)I'm just waiting out an evening on call.
Only one call so far. A boring night on call is infinitely preferable to an interesting one.
Rather puts one in mind of the old Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."
